📖 About This Campground
Hite Campground and Marina at Lake Powell in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area Utah provides primitive Rv and tent camping adjacent to a boat launch at the northern end of the man-made lake. This region is very remote with a seasonal ranger station and self service kiosk. Vault toilets available the camping area is very rustic and we recommend being fully prepared when you arrive. There is a gas station but the store associated with it is rarely open; when open there are supplies available.
The bathrooms near the boat launch have flush toilets. There is water available in the water fountains. Picnic tables and fire rings available.
There is also a nearby "RV park" but services are degraded and the location is very expensive. We are only listing the primitive camping areas for now until a new concessionaire improves the facilities. Operated by Aramark their website,ย https://www.lakepowell.com/, does not provide any information on this area.
NOTE: There is no cell service in this area.
