Unique? Heck yeah! Quiet and out of the way? Absolutely. This is a very unique place to stay for a night in the RV. As the description states this is a living ghost town and the locals are great. Unique history and unique location. Verizon 4G worked great and the little ice cream shop was wonderful. A real treat for skipping the interstate!

📖 About This Campground
Historic Virginian Hotel RV Sites in Medicine Bow Wyoming provides about 10 back-in full hookup RV sites behind the historic hotel. Medicine Bow is located along the Union Pacific rail line and is essentially a living ghost town. The RV sites are not well maintained, located on dirt/ gravel they are a bit rough.
The town has an authentic old west feel. A small restaurant and convenience store provide supplies. Just across US 30 are the train tracks and a small museum. US 30 is lightly traveled and the speed limit in town is 30 mph so nights are quiet and peaceful.
