Many guests note friendly, welcoming owners and quiet, mature grounds that suit families and anglers. However, several reviewers reported a persistent water odor (rotten-egg/sewer smell), occasional cleanliness and pest problems (ants, leftover items), and sporadic maintenance issues (broken blinds or TV, loose deck). Some stays were excellent while others had these drawbacks. If value and a relaxed lakeside setting matter, this resort can work well—just be prepared to check water and cabin condition on arrival.
