Hermit Gulch Campground

Hermit Gulch Campground in Avalon California on Santa Catalina Island offers primitive tent camping 1.5 miles from the boat launch. Reservations required; camping supplies available for rent. Primitive tent camping with access to area trails and the walk back down to Avalon Harbor. A unique location to camp fees are a bit steep and are per person. Minimum stays are required on weekends and holidays. Campsites are on dirt and have picnic tables and some shade. Restrooms with running water are available along with quarter operated showers. A unique location to camp they also offer glamping tents. No pets are allowed.
