Hells Gate State Park offers spacious, well‑maintained campsites, a mix of tent loops and RV spots, and river access with a marina, boat ramp and a sandy swim beach a short walk from most sites. A limited number of full‑hookup sites are available (additional fees can increase nightly cost). The park features extensive hiking, biking and equestrian trails, a visitor/interpretive center and family amenities like playgrounds and picnic areas. It gets busy in summer, wildlife is common, and bathhouses are available though visitors report occasional shower or irrigation issues. Expect active enforcement of parking rules.
