Green Mountain Cottonwood Campground near Jeffrey City Wyoming is a remote primitive small RV and tent campground located on BLM managed property in the forest and scenic Green Mountain Loop area. If getting away from everything and everyone is something on your radar then this campground should make the grade. 11 miles from US 287 along Green Mountain Loop Road the park has picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets and a cheap nightly rate.
This is bear country and remote middle of nowhere country; you must be self sufficient, self aware and prepared.
