Fonda Logston

Spent a week at Great Plains State Park! Very clean! Full hookups sites with space. Fun hiking trails, and a heart healthy trail with lots of fun facts and history signs to read, sand boxes in the park, a nice playground, tree swing behind our site and a small pond that my grandson used for his RC boat. Lots of geocaches in the park! Hubby and grandson caught a few fish, kayak rentals. The bath rooms were very clean. The 3 restaurants we tried in Snyder were all very good. Bait shop Burgers has homemade fries and very good burgers, JTs BBQ didn’t look like much but the food was very good. The Mexican restaurant in town had white cheddar queso that was very good. Drove into Altus one day and visited the Prairie Museum, it was worth the trip nice little museum. The sites are all fairly level we did have to use 2 blocks on the passenger side in site 35. It was very very windy two days so we spent some time exploring Altus and playing games inside. The rest of the time it was beautiful and perfect for hiking and playing outside. ATT had four bars so great reception. The camp office sold ice, wood and bait (frozen shrimp and shad and live worms).
