Great Northern Campground is a small, family-oriented site with shaded campsites among pine trees, a clean, well-maintained feel, and a variety of activities for kids — a large playground, swimming pond with inflatable play, cornhole and a gaga ball pit. Staff are friendly and the office offers basic conveniences and bathrooms (plus porta‑potties). The grounds are generally tidy and fairly quiet. Practical tradeoffs: site layout varies — some visitors find spots roomy while others feel sites are close with limited privacy — and a few guests noted narrow, potentially muddy access roads and occasional fees for showers or dump/dump-station use.
