What campers say

Grayville / I-64 KOA Holiday is a newer, family-friendly park conveniently just off I-64 with spacious, level gravel pull-throughs that accommodate large rigs. The western-themed property offers a standout playground (including water features), a challenging putt-putt course, an ice cream shop and small store, plus an on-site restaurant and bar that many guests enjoy though some find food inconsistent. Bathrooms and laundry are modern and clean, but the bathhouse can feel small. Expect good cell and Wi-Fi service; shade is limited. Most visitors praise friendly staff and easy access, though occasional late-night noise has been reported.

This new KOA is formerly Rest-Up RV and very hard to find, there are no signs on the road. Close to I-64. A camper at another campground told me about it and I had to call for directions. Gravel sites, long pull-thrus. No shade except in the tent area. Fire pit and table at each site. Community swing and fire pit. Limited store, playground, mini-golf, cabins for rent. Guide to site. Small western town connected with a rentable dance hall for 150 people. All closed because of COVID.. Horseshoes, storm shelter. A work in progress but getting there. We stayed there twice, on our way out west and on the way back. On the return trip the store and office were open but the western town attractions were still closed.
