Visitors praise the boardwalk access and broad shoreline for fishing and walks. Expect limited cell coverage (park wifi may help) and note ongoing hurricane recovery: the pier and some facilities have been closed or intermittently out of service. Overall a peaceful beach campground with some tradeoffs.
