Grand Isle State Park offers a wide, natural beach and a quiet, scenic setting popular with birdlife and dolphins. Campers report well-maintained, paved pull-through RV sites with electrical hookups, nearby bathrooms/showers, and a coin-or-app laundry; a few tent sites sit directly on the beach with picnic tables and fire rings. Visitors praise the boardwalk access and broad shoreline for fishing and walks. Expect limited cell coverage (park wifi may help) and note ongoing hurricane recovery: the pier and some facilities have been closed or intermittently out of service. Overall a peaceful beach campground with some tradeoffs.
