Goodnight's Lonesome Dove RV Campground & Cabins offers cozy, rustic cabins and roomy RV and group sites in a quiet, scenic setting about 15 minutes from Wolf Creek ski area. It’s family- and pet-friendly with large open areas where dogs are often allowed off-leash (not fenced), and onsite perks such as a hot tub, pool table, small store, putt-putt and occasional breakfast offerings. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. Tradeoffs: the property is somewhat outside town so bring supplies, and there are several reports of cleaning or maintenance issues and mixed shower/bathroom experiences, so confirm details when booking.
