The park has basic cabins on the water that are clean and suitable for a low‑key stay; visitors should plan to bring bedding. Sites are generally small, so large RVs may be constrained. Many trails and areas are maintained and staff are described as friendly and helpful, but some facilities show age—restrooms, showers, docks, playgrounds, and a few bridges have been reported as worn or damaged.
