What campers say
Small, well-kept park with level, grassy tent areas and roomy RV sites. Sites are affordable — tent fees reported around $6 and RV full hookups (30/50 amp and water) around $25 — and the campground offers a convenient dump station with QR-code/self-registration payments. Amenities include picnic shelters with power, a pavilion, playground and a caboose feature; trails and open spaces invite walks. Facilities are basic: pit toilets and no on-site showers in most accounts. Practical tradeoffs: the park is close to highways and a railroad, so road and train noise has been noticed, though many guests still found it quiet and uncrowded.
