Glen Hills County Park offers a well-maintained, family-friendly campground with spacious, shady sites, updated bathrooms and showers, playgrounds, and a variety of lake activities (swimming beach, fishing, kayak/canoe/paddleboat rentals). Trails are scenic but can be moderate to uneven in places with narrow, overgrown sections and creek crossings. The small lake and disc golf course add recreation options. Sites often have electric and water hookups; there is no full-site sewer but a campground dump and water fill are available. The park is generally quiet and clean, though the beach can collect geese droppings at times and roosters have been reported crowing at dawn.
