General Lee Marina & Campground is a long-established, family-friendly lakefront park with shaded lakeside sites, multiple boat launches, docks, a small store, and paddleboat/kayak rentals. Staff and many campers are described as welcoming, and sites and grounds are generally kept clean. Expect older facilities and modest hookups—30-amp service predominates and there are no sewer hookups (a dump station is available)—which can limit very large rigs. The park is quieter in the off-season but can be busy or rowdy on peak summer weekends. Good for swimming, fishing, and a relaxed, budget-conscious stay.
