What campers say

Gateway RV Park is a small, well-kept RV park with strong mountain and Roaring Fork River views, easy access to the Rio Grande bike trail, boat launch, and nearby towns like Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and Aspen. Sites are generally level, double-wide and mostly gravel, with a mix of full hookups and electric/water options. Hosts are described as friendly and the restrooms and showers are kept clean. Practical tradeoffs include a highway close by that can bring daytime road noise while evenings tend to quiet down, and variable cell reception (AT&T generally better; Verizon can be spotty). Overall convenient with good availability.

Nice park close in to Carbondale. If you want easy access to one of the best bike paths in the country this is it. 50 ft from the campground entrance puts you on the paved bike trail from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. Spectacular biking. Add to that very nice campground hosts and this is a great stop. We had water and electric only, but there is a dump station.
