Gateway Park Campground is a well-kept, family-oriented park with clean grounds, a saltwater pool, playground and numerous kid activities (train ride, crafts, jumping pillow) plus paddle-boat and golf-cart rentals and lake access across the road. Cabins and RV sites are comfortable—cabins offer A/C, fridge, microwave and TV, and sites have full hookups—and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful (firewood delivery available). Practical tradeoffs: cabins can be noisy because interior walls don’t reach the ceiling and most lack private showers, and there are occasional reservation or communication hiccups. Overall a tidy, activity-rich campground.
