This small, mostly free dispersed campground offers open sites with several fire rings and a few picnic benches. Trails originate near the sites and provide miles of hiking plus wide southern views that are good for stargazing. Access is rough — single-track roads with deep ruts and encroaching branches — so a vehicle suited to off-road conditions is advisable. Facilities are minimal; no toilets have been reported, so bring supplies and be prepared for primitive conditions. Seasonal morning flies have been mentioned in summer. Good choice for quiet, primitive camping if you can handle the drive.
