Fox River Recreation

Located on the Fox River, this campground is praised for its riverside setting, recreational options (pool, playground, volleyball, boat and canoe access) and a social, community-oriented atmosphere with frequent events. Many guests compliment friendly, helpful staff and a welcoming vibe. However, several reviewers report significant tradeoffs: a mobile-home-park feel with long-term residents, occasional cleanliness and cabin maintenance issues, concerns about water quality and the dump station, and unstable electrical or septic services. Experiences with management and refunds are mixed. Visitors should confirm site type, utilities and cabin conditions before booking to match expectations.
