What campers say
Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park offers well-preserved historic reconstructions and interpretive displays set on spacious, walkable grounds with scenic views of the Missouri River. A network of paved, dirt, and grassy trails leads to river access and birding areas, and the campground is green and pet-friendly with leash rules. Facilities are generally clean, including bathhouses, showers, and vault toilets; some sites provide electrical hookups for RVs. There is a daily entrance fee unless you have a state parks annual pass, and several historic areas have early closing times (around 5 PM), so plan visits accordingly.
