Boo boo boo on you South Dakota State Parks. We arrived for an overnight stay but were forced to call in to their reservation phone number to get the site. They wanted a $2 reservation fee just for that. No thanks. So then I tried reserving via their website... $8 out of state fee. So in the end they wanted over $30 for an electric only backin RV site. No thanks. If you are a SD resident then this place is fine otherwise I recommend moving on down the road. Verizon 4G was decent. RV sites are large. Pretty area.

What campers say
Fisher Grove State Park Campground is a small, well-kept site with friendly hosts and a relaxed, uncrowded feel. Many sites are shaded and level, offering privacy and electric hookups; a dump station and nearby clubhouse/river and golf-course access make it convenient for short stops, fishing and golfing. Facility reports vary: some visitors praise a clean shower house, while others encountered locked restrooms or water hydrant problems, so availability may be inconsistent. A few found the combined entry and site fee on the high side. Overall it’s a tidy, convenient stop for a brief stay, especially if you don’t require full hookups.
