Faywood Hot Springs is a relaxed, small resort with soaking pools, cabins, RV sites and tent camping, plus distinct clothing-optional and clothed areas. Staff are frequently described as welcoming, and the mineral pools are commonly called therapeutic; private pools can be rented. Night skies and resident peacocks add to the atmosphere. Practical tradeoffs include uneven, sometimes rocky ground and low nighttime lighting in some areas, very hot pools that vary by tub, and occasional wind-blown debris. Campers suggest bringing a good sleeping pad, planning ahead for weekend events, and noting a pet fee is charged.

📖 About This Campground

Faywood Hot Springs in Faywood New Mexico offers tent sites for camping, pull through RV (recreational vehicle) sites with full hook ups, and private cabins for overnight lodging accommodations. Our Visitor Center houses the Front Desk, a store and gift shop. We have a Club House available for rentals for get togethers. The hot springs feature a number of different soaking pools including public (both clothing and clothing optional choices), private and group pools. In addition for tent camping, there are two designated camping areas: one is clothing optional the other is clothing required. A remote location in a quiet area. We are open daily from 11:00AM to 8:00PM except Easter Sunday & Christmas Day, we are closed all day.
