What campers say

Falling Waters State Park is a compact, well-maintained park centered on Florida's highest waterfall and several dramatic sinkholes. Short, mostly paved boardwalks and trails thread through ferns and canopy, with an accessible upper overlook and a lower deck reached by stairs for a closer view. Facilities include a small campground with paved RV sites, clean restrooms and a nearby lake for swimming, canoeing and fishing; picnic shelters, a playground and a butterfly garden add family-friendly options. Waterfall flow and access can vary with rainfall, and some trail sections are occasionally closed for repairs, but overall the park offers easy hikes and peaceful natural scenery.
