Lake Del Valle Family Campground offers roomy, grassy campsites with flat sites suitable for trailers and extra tent space, plus shade in many spots, creek access near several sites, and easy access to hiking and lake views. Facilities include clean restrooms and showers and a small entrance store selling ice, firewood, and snacks. Wildlife is abundant — deer, wild turkeys and a variety of waterfowl are commonly seen. Practical tradeoffs: the lake can have low water or algae-related swimming restrictions, some sites lack shade, summer heat and flies can be an issue, and cell/internet service is limited.

Del Valle Family Campground in Livermore California has tent campsites and sites with water, sewage and electrical (50/30/20) hookups. The sites are served by centrally located toilet and shower facilities. There are also several youth group campgrounds, available by reservation. Visitors may rent motorboats, patio boats, peddle boats, canoes, and kayaks at the marina, and any size boat may be launched at the public boat ramp.
