This campground is our go-to when we need to spend time in Troy, Alabama. Laundry and restrooms are clean. Many people stop here for just a night on their way to Florida, but it is nice and quiet. There is too much light at night for us, we wish they had less intrusive lighting as we like to sleep with windows open when weather permits.

What campers say
Deer Run RV Park is consistently described as well maintained and easy to use, with level concrete pull‑through sites, full hookups, and a quiet, convenient location off the main road. Staff are repeatedly praised as friendly and accommodating, with clear after‑hours procedures and helpful communications. Grounds, pool, clubhouse, laundry and restrooms are kept clean, and the park suits families and extended stays. Practical tradeoffs mentioned by some guests include occasional slow Wi‑Fi, limited shade on certain pads, a bathhouse set away from some sites, and isolated reports of mapping/address confusion — worth checking before arrival.
