Deer Ridge Camping Resort is a tidy, well-kept, family-run park close to the interstate and town, with friendly, helpful staff who often escort larger rigs to sites and assist with hookups. Sites sit among trees, the grounds and facilities are generally clean, and the campground feels family- and dog-friendly. The park has a pool, mini-golf and small playground features, though some guests report the mini-golf needs repair and the pool may be seasonally closed; many sites appear to be long-term/permanent. For quick overnight stops or extended stays, expect attentive service and a quiet, well-maintained setting with occasional amenity limitations.

Deer Ridge Camping Resort in Richmond Indiana offers full hookup RV and tent camping in a wooded setting. Seasonal and short term stays. Close to the interstate and tucked off of a side road the access road to the park is a narrow one lane on gravel. All of the park roads are gravel also. This park has a number of seasonal sites in a shaded setting and also has an open area with partial hook up back in RV sites; these partial hookup sites look out at the rec area which is a covered pavilion, a nice pool area and bath house along with miniature golf course. Overall the park show signs of wear but is suitable for an overnight stay.
