What campers say
Conklin Landing RV Park is a tidy, well-maintained riverside park with spacious sites, reliable full hookups and clean restrooms/showers. Hosts are frequently described as friendly and attentive, and the grassy, dog-friendly grounds and picnic tables are kept up. The roomy boat launch on the Columbia (just below Chief Joseph Dam) makes it popular for salmon fishing and boating; swimming and short boat rides are also noted. Tradeoffs: activities are limited on-site and nearby, so it's best for anglers and those wanting a quiet stay. A few visitors mentioned seasonal fly issues and young trees that don't yet provide shade.
