Colden Lakes Resort is a well-kept, family-oriented campground with friendly, hands-on staff and a welcoming community. Many sites are level with full hookups (water, electric, sewer) and easy tank setup; amenities include a pool/pavilion (seasonal), playground, fishing/kayaking, cabins, occasional food-truck breakfasts and organized family events. Weekdays tend to be peaceful while weekends are busier. A few visitors noted tight site spacing or steep access roads that can be challenging for larger RVs. While most guests praise the hosts for helpfulness—even in emergencies—there are occasional reports of less positive interactions with management.
