Whoa baby this one was a surprise. They assigned us the site right next to the water and it was marvelous. Cool breeze blowing in all day and amazing view looking at the rippling lake. The entire park was been re-done with concrete patios and packed gravel parking pads with new pavement for the drives being prepped when we visited. All new electric boxes too. $45 per night I was told they are probably going to be long term guests only. The manager lives onsite and they are nice. Clearlake as a community is nothing to write home about. This entire region is very strange; amazing lake + run down vacation homes = great investment opportunity? Verizon 4G was excellent for phone and data. There is a fishing pier and boat launch located within the park.

What campers say
Clearlake Resort is a lakeside RV and mobile‑home park often praised for its clean, quiet grounds, private dock and boat launch, summertime pool, and large laundry facilities. Many residents appreciate roomy sites with small patios or lawns, included utilities (water, garbage), free Wi‑Fi/Dish TV, and a friendly, community atmosphere next to state‑park trails. Several reviewers also mention responsive management. However, some note maintenance and safety concerns — faded signage, nonworking lights, a closed bathhouse, loose dogs, and occasional yard‑spray or plumbing issues — so expect generally pleasant amenities with sporadic upkeep issues.
