Chief Logan State Park offers a scenic, well-maintained setting with friendly staff and a wide range of activities. The park includes miles of marked, dog-friendly hiking trails, playgrounds, an amphitheater, a fishing pond with benches, picnic shelters, a museum/gift shop and a small wildlife exhibit. Campground facilities are tidy, with maintained restrooms and showers; many sites include fire rings and metal trash receptacles. There are a limited number of full-hookup campsites (about 25) with 30-amp service, so RV options can be constrained. Some visitors note a need for occasional upgrades and more frequent fish stocking.
