Chicot State Park is a scenic, peaceful destination centered on cypress-tupelo waterways and a well-regarded arboretum. Visitors often highlight excellent canoeing, kayaking, fishing and birdwatching, plus abundant photo opportunities. Camp sites are affordable and typically provide water and electric hookups (no sewer at sites; dump stations available), with some sites on steep lots or decks and rough road approaches. Bathhouses exist but may be distant from certain loops and show varying upkeep. Cell and internet service are limited.
