This family-run KOA just outside Charlottesville is frequently praised for its friendly staff, clean remodeled bathhouse, and a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. Many guests find the gravel sites level and shaded with good space and roomy hookups; a handful report tighter spacing or occasional electrical limitations. On-site features include a nature trail with pond access, a small dog area, game room and camp store, plus a large pool that some visitors enjoyed (though pool hours/availability have varied). The park is a convenient base for Monticello and Shenandoah National Park, but note the narrow, twisty access road for larger rigs.
