What campers say

Cave-In-Rock State Park centers on an impressive riverfront cave that’s easy to explore via a stairway descent. The cavern is wide with a natural light opening and extends on the order of tens of yards, making a one- to two-hour visit enjoyable for photos and mild adventure. Park features include picnic shelters, grills, a playground and a few cabins, but services in town can be limited and some restrooms are basic. Parking access can be confusing (restaurant directions have confused visitors), so expect a short walk to the cave entrance.
