Cardinal Campground is a small, family-run site near Campbell offering quiet, well-kept grassy, mostly level sites with water and electric, picnic tables and fire rings. Amenities include showers, laundry and a seasonal pool; some sites attract long-term campers so the atmosphere tends to be peaceful and orderly. Practical tradeoffs: there are no sewer hookups (weekly cleanouts are available), very long rigs may have trouble reaching the dump station, and occasional guests report inconsistent communication or damp firewood. Owners are generally described as friendly and attentive. Good option for a low-key Finger Lakes base for wine touring or family visits.
