What campers say
Capulin Camp & RV Park sits steps from Capulin Volcano National Monument and offers well‑kept grounds, spacious level gravel RV pads, pull‑through full hookups, clean restrooms and laundry. It’s a quiet, family‑friendly spot with dark‑sky views and nice sunrise/vista opportunities; expect some road noise at times. Several guests praised the site maintenance and proximity to the monument, while others reported problems with check‑in, intermittent Wi‑Fi, limited bathroom access or hot water, and rude or unresponsive ownership — including alarming accounts of aggressive behavior. Making a reservation and confirming arrival details ahead is recommended.
