Located in the Berryessa Mountains beside Putah Creek, Canyon Creek Resort offers a scenic, peaceful setting with wildlife and the sound of the creek. Many guests praise friendly, helpful staff and recent improvements to the lodge, camp store and food service under new management. Practical tradeoffs include limited free internet and varied site quality: some sites are small, close together, muddy or uneven, and a few reviewers note aging infrastructure such as an out-of-service hot tub, a dated pool or electrical and road access concerns. Overall the resort mixes pleasant natural surroundings and improving amenities with areas still needing maintenance.
