Camp Lakeview is a family-oriented lake campground with friendly, responsive staff and an owner who is hands-on about guest comfort. The property is well cared for with spacious sites (some with picnic tables and fire rings), trails, a playground, kayak/boat access and on-site rentals, a small shop, showers and RV hookups. Fishing is a major draw — including kid-friendly docks and stocked trout — and there’s cell service and Wi‑Fi for campers. Practical tradeoffs: some visitors noted occasional restroom cleaning needs and slightly murky water, and there is a day-use fee (around $12) for lake access.
