Camp Door County RV Resort & Campground is a relatively new, well-maintained property convenient to Sister Bay and nearby towns and beaches. Guests consistently note spotless, modern restrooms, a handy lodge and a well-stocked camp store. Sites are generally spacious, level and offer good hookups; cabins provide small kitchenettes and comfortable beds. Staff are described as friendly and helpful. Current tradeoffs include gravel/mulch roads and occasional dust, limited on-site amenities and kids’ programming for now, and reports that some sites require parking in a lot with a short walk. Overall a quiet, clean base for exploring the area.

Camp Door RV Resort & Campground is Door County's newest camping and glamping destination, nestled just outside of Sister Bay. Officially opened on May 23, 2025, this upscale resort offers a blend of modern amenities and natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts.


 Accommodations & Amenities

  • Campsites: 77 spacious sites equipped with full hookups, including 50/30/20 amp power, water, and sewer services. Each site features a picnic table and a fire ring.

  • Clubhouse: A brand-new facility offering restrooms, showers, a game room, and a camp store for essentials.

  • Additional Amenities: High-speed internet access, pet-friendly accommodations, and ADA-compliant facilities.


Grand Opening & Events

To celebrate its grand opening, Camp Door hosted a special event from June 6 to June 8, 2025. The weekend featured free camping for the first 30 reservations, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, food trucks, activities for all ages, and live music from the Joseph Huber Band on Saturday night.
