California Hot Springs Resort offers a relaxed, well-maintained spot centered on a large heated mineral pool and two hot tubs at different temperatures. Facilities include locker rooms with showers, bathrooms, and lockers, plus a small on-site store, gift shop, and a snack/ice cream counter. The setting is quiet and scenic, with an RV park nearby that has notably clean restrooms. Staff are generally helpful though a few visitors describe a no-nonsense demeanor. Summer weekends can be busy, while off-season visits are much more peaceful. Overall it's a charming, historic escape for soaking and light refreshments.

Just across the road from the resort, where Hotel Del Venado once stood is, the R. V. Park. The park is equipped with 42 full hookups (water, sewer, electric) including a scenic picnic area. Registration for the R.V. Park- $35.00/Night, $195.00/week. (2 people) $3/Night A/C or Heat\ As of May 29, 2018 tent camping will no longer be permitted. Situated on a hill across from the California Hot Springs hall and pool.
