What campers say

Brimley State Park is a popular, family-oriented campground noted for a wide, swimmable Lake Superior beach and newly renovated, very clean restrooms and showers. Amenities include a dish-washing station, boat launch and multiple beach access points; firewood is sold at the ranger/check-in. Sites range from spacious, wooded lakeside lots to smaller, closely spaced tent sites, and there is at least one mini-cabin option. The park can be crowded and noisy on peak weekends, and there is only one dump station, so expect some tradeoffs. Nearby small-town shops, a museum and eateries add convenience.
