What campers say
Bray Creek State Forest Campground is a small, wooded riverside spot that many visitors find peaceful for weekend stays or day trips. The Baldwin River/creek runs through the site with shallow stretches suitable for young children and deeper pockets in places. Sites are a decent size for tents and small trailers, with forested pine surroundings and short walking trails; the campground is also close to nearby stores. Amenities are basic (vault toilets reported). Tradeoffs include a limited number of sites, occasional fallen or dead limbs above campsites, some reports of minimal site cleanup, and rare security concerns—secure belongings.
