What campers say

Bladon Springs State Park is a small, quiet campground with a roomy layout and basic full hookups; several visitors found the park lightly used and suitable for family or group gatherings. It's maintained at the county level, uses a self-check $15 dropbox system, and staff have been seen doing maintenance. Bathrooms were reported clean and birdlife (including owls) is commonly noticed. Expect limited trail infrastructure and more of a picnic-park feel than a large state-park experience. Tradeoffs include peaceful, uncrowded sites versus modest amenities and few marked hiking options.
