What campers say

Small, wooded campground along Black Creek with spacious, tree-shaded sites ideal for hammocks and biking the nearby rails-to-trails. Sites are generally level and peaceful, with potable water, a dumpster and vault/portable toilets. Facilities are rustic: no electricity, showers or modern restrooms, and registration is cash-or-check self-pay at the gate. The creek offers fishing and water access for carry-in boats but there is no formal boat ramp. Expect mosquitoes at times and occasional road noise or rowdy groups on busy weekends. Nearby convenience stores and state forest trails expand outdoor options.
