Birdland Bay RV Resort is a small, family-run park with friendly, helpful hosts and well-kept grounds. Sites are large, shaded and set with good separation, many level back-in spots making parking easy. A short, maintained trail leads down to the bay/river, popular for fishing, paddling and sandy shoreline access, and the park feels peaceful and wooded. Facilities are reported clean and laundry/bath areas available. Practical tradeoff: a busy railroad and highway sit across the road, and trains (including horn blasts) are regularly audible; many guests still consider the park a pleasant, restful base near town.
