We are a family owned and operated marina and campground with General Store. Offer pontoon,ski boat & Sailboat rentals, sailing lesson, kayak rentals, boat launching and many more lake activities. Located on 84 acres of Lake Hartwell with 7 natural sandy beaches for our guest to enjoy. Full hookup RV and tent camping near the shores of the lake.

Located on the largest open expanse of water on Lake Hartwell, Big Water Marina is hidden away on the shoreline of Starr, South Carolina. Found out in the country, our campground offers a secluded oasis fit for families and friends of all ages. Our reserve provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere to allow our visitors to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature at hand. Along with the spectacular views of the area, we also provide a variety of great amenities for the comfort and convenience of our guests.

Geography:

The town of Starr, SC is a quaint 1.5 square miles of land. Surrounded by friendly neighborhoods and country roads, the charming town is suitable for pleasant strolls, bike rides or golf cart cruises. On our campsite, the irresistible tranquility of Lake Hartwell engulfs the shorelines. Visitors can spend the days swimming, fishing, or sailing away from all of life's worries. Ski boats, pontoons and sailboats are available for rent to all guests.

Our campgrounds are equipped with everything our guests need for the perfect camping trip. Visitors have access to rental boats, ramps, docks, fishing outlets, firepits, picnic tables, and plenty of land for outdoor games and activities.

Facilities:

For the comfort and convenience of our visitors, our site offers full water, sewer, and power hookups (110 volt plug-in, 30 amp units & 50 amp units) along with free WiFi access. Our spaces are set up with private firepits and picnic tables for all guests. 24-hour restrooms and showers are positioned nearby for those times when nature calls. Directly across from the campsite is our Ship Store - stocked with snacks, drinks, and a wide selection of lake and camping necessities.
