What campers say

Benbow KOA Holiday sits on the Eel River near redwood parks and the Benbow Inn, offering pull-through RV sites with full hookups and a range of cabins that are generally well appointed (AC, microwave, fridge). The campground provides many on-site amenities — pool, hot tub, splash pad, arcade, laundry and recreational areas — but guests report variable availability and seasonal closures. Opinions on maintenance and cleanliness are mixed: some praise spacious showers and tidy facilities while others report mold, pests, or neglected landscaping. Staff are often described as friendly and helpful, though occasional check-in or service issues and limited WiFi have been reported.

Camping Pro

Stopped in just for some propane. Overall a nice park BUT the entrance drive is a real maze in a big unit. Tight turns and weird parking for checkin. Otherwise nice park

Legacy Reviews

Nice park overall. Paved sites, with patio and table, clean bathrooms, showers, and a very nice pool. A bit pricey but considering the location and easy access to US 101 and the remote location in Northern California it's a good stop. Expensive laundry machines so be prepared. Overall a well run park
