What campers say
Beaver Lake State Park is a well-maintained, scenic campground with clean restrooms, friendly rangers and camp hosts, and a calm country setting. Families will appreciate a large playground, beach, swimming and paddle-boarding access, fishing docks, and a network of walking trails. Sites tend to be roomy enough for large motorhomes, and hookups (electric, water and dump) are available. Cabins are also offered. Practical tradeoffs: some campsites share a water hookup and may require a long hose, the shoreline can be rocky and water chilly at times, and the park is fairly remote from nearby towns.
