What campers say

Bearlodge Mountain Resort presents a rustic, family-friendly option with small cabins set on a hill offering nice views, onsite horses and friendly cats, and convenient self check‑in. Many guests find the cabins charming, reasonably priced, and staffed by responsive hosts. Be aware of tradeoffs: units are compact and sleeping configurations vary, with occasional reports of limited hot water, heater or cleanliness/maintenance issues. RV travelers should verify site type and levelness beforehand, as pull‑throughs and pad quality have been inconsistently reported. Overall, it’s a budget, homey stay best suited to travelers who prioritize charm over full-service amenities.

📖 About This Campground

The Bearlodge Mountain Resort in Sundance Wyoming has eight water/electric sites, four electric only sites, and seven 'tiny home' style cabins.  The views are fantastic with whitetail deer roaming the property year round, some wild turkeys, and on a rare occasion, a fox.  We are about a half an hour drive from Devil's Tower and the Keyhole State Park (with a reservoir), an hour from Sturgis SD, and you can be at Mount Rushmore in two hours.  There's great food nearby and wonderful Western folk everywhere you look.  Come stay with us.  I think you'll be glad you did.
