Reviews are mixed. Recent change in ownership and on-site management are credited with cleaning up the park and improving responsiveness; staff and maintenance are often described as helpful. The park's marina-front location is convenient for charters, the Saturday market and waterfront activities. However, several guests report dated, run-down units and general cleanliness issues (overflowing trash, dust), along with intermittent unpleasant odors from a nearby wastewater/treatment facility and occasional barking or noisy neighbors. For visitors these are tradeoffs: close, walkable access to the port and local attractions versus potential noise, smells, and variable site condition.
