What campers say
Small, affordable campground just outside West Yellowstone with easy park access and several sites along the Madison River. Sites are fairly spacious with gravel pads and some electrical hookups; paved internal roads make trailers easy to navigate. Facilities are primitive: vault/pit toilets, no showers or dump station, and on-site bear boxes — bring bear spray and store food properly. Cell service is often available, though dense trees can interfere with satellite internet. Hosts are generally helpful but can be short with guests according to some reports. Expect a quiet stay overall, though a few sites are near a main road and may experience traffic noise.
